John —
We wanted to take a moment to celebrate an important day and kick off our end-of-month fundraising campaign!
Today is Women's Equality Day, the official day to commemorate the 1920 certification of the Nineteenth Amendment, which granted women the right to vote in the United States.
We have come a long way in the last hundred years, but we still have work to do to ensure women from all backgrounds have equal opportunities and freedom. Oregonians understand that we are at a crucial point where we need leaders who will ensure that the women of today don't have fewer rights than the generations before them.
That leader is Tina. For years, she has fought to ensure a better future for everyone.
So in celebration of Women's Equality Day and the start of our end-of-month fundraising push, will you donate today to help us raise $100,000 before our deadline next Wednesday?
When we reflect on the women's suffrage movement, we see what it took to mobilize and create change in the country. Years of organizing, countless marches for equality, and tens of thousands of women demanding a seat at the table.
Our people-powered campaign is steadfast in carrying forward that tradition, organizing every community throughout Oregon, so that Tina can focus on furthering progress and building a future that creates opportunity and justice for every Oregonian. Because right now, we know that inequality still exists — in our pay, in our health care, in our constitutional rights, and more.
Tina will be ready on day one to listen and uplift voices that have been overlooked and silenced for too long. Tina believes that together we can reckon with the legacies of injustice and inequality to build a better future.
We have just over two months until Election Day. To ensure a win for Tina, we need your support to reach our August end-of-month fundraising goal to power our grassroots movement.
So please, consider chipping in whatever you can to help us raise $100,000 before next Wednesday's deadline. We're well on our way to hitting that goal, but we need to pick up the pace today to hit it.
Thanks for your support, and Happy Women's Equality Day!
