Hours after Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate was raided by the FBI for classified documents, Kevin McCarthy immediately went to the press threatening the US Justice Department saying that if Republicans take back the House, they will retaliate and conduct an investigation into the Justice Department.

This isn’t just McCarthy catering to his far-right wing base. It’s an actual sneak peek into his revenge plan if Republicans take the House.

First, McCarthy plans to strip anyone who supported, vouched for, or worked on the January 6th committee of their leadership roles. Then, McCarthy and his extremist allies will launch a series of time-wasting investigations until Trump and his accomplices are absolved of any wrongdoing.
