Team Kelly, here. We’ve been busy putting our 2022 voter contact strategy into effect, and we’re all in to win this race come November.

We have identified the voters we must reach and have volunteers across the state making phone calls, sending text messages, and knocking on doors. We’re talking directly to the voters we need to win – and that’s just our in-person strategy.

My team is gearing up to send mail so we can let Arkansans know about our campaign.

We’re giving this race our all, and we won't slow down with 74 days to go.

Our biggest roadblock, however, is money. We’ve got the people and strategy mapped out, but our current budget cannot sustain the kind of campaign we need to run if we’re going to motivate hundreds of thousands of voters in the final weeks of our campaign. Kelly’s opponent Leslie Rutledge has $450k in the bank to use against us, and in 2022, less than 2% of her contributions come from small-dollar donors. Approximately 73% of her money has come from PACs, SuperPACs, and donors who gave $2k or more.

There is a clear difference in how these campaigns are funded and run. Our team is hustling paycheck to paycheck, and we’re managing our budget like many Arkansas families do each month. We can’t spend what we don’t have.
