Team – it’s Friday, so I’ll keep this short. We have less than three months until the election, and it’s all hands on deck to beat my radical MAGA Republican opponent. Just this month, the Cook Political Report reported our race will be even more competitive than we thought – and new polling puts me tied neck-and-neck with my opponent. In a race this close, we can’t afford to leave anything up to chance. Dark money is flooding into this district, and my opponent even paid his campaign $750,000 of his own money. I am proud to be running a people-powered campaign, but it will take everyone on our grassroots team stepping up to ensure we have the resources we need to compete dollar for dollar. My team sat down and calculated that if we raise an additional $10,000 before the end of the month, we’ll be ready to respond to the attacks we know are coming.
The stakes of this race have never been higher. We are making tough budget decisions every day, so falling short of this $10,000 goal is simply not an option. This is where the rubber meets the road, team – we cannot afford to leave this election to chance. I’m counting on you to step up now, when it matters most.
