That’s why People For is proud to be partnering with Vote Forward’s campaign to write letters to underrepresented voters in key districts across the country to boost turnout this November.
This year, Vote Forward has set an ambitious goal to write letters to over 10 MILLION potential voters!
You may be asking yourself, “why letter writing?!?”
Handwritten letters to voters proved to be a hugely successful get out the vote strategy during the 2020 elections, boosting nationwide voter turnout by almost 1%! And People For members played a huge role in that success: writing over 70,000 letters in the 2020 election and another 20,000 during the 2021 Virginia elections!
It’s also the perfect GOTV opportunity you can participate in from the comfort of your own home, and at your own pace. You can even enlist friends and family to join you and make a letter writing party for it!
