Last month’s Democratic victories in Virginia were a huge step forward for our Commonwealth. But the fight for Virginia isn’t over — the 2020 elections are less than a year away and if Mark isn’t reelected to the Senate we could lose our hard-earned progress. And right now our fundraising is on a worrying downward trend.

I'll be honest: this dip in fundraising is coming at a really bad time. Now is when we need to be ramping up our fundraising. Multiple Republican candidates have already started their campaigns to challenge Mark so now is when we need to be building momentum all across Virginia.

Mark will be the only state-wide Virginia Democrat on the ballot in 2020 so having a strong campaign won't only help his reelection but will also lift up Democrats in local elections. We need a big boost right now so we can head into 2020 firing on all cylinders, ready to take on whatever our Republican opponents throw at us!
