John, it's Sen. Cory Booker here. I am thrilled at the prospect of having Trudy Busch Valentine as a colleague in the Senate. With our Senate majority and the future of our country on the line this November, I am all in on Trudy's campaign. And today I am humbly asking you to join me.
Despite all the partisanship, politics, and posturing in Washington, there are still people here working night and day to make life even just a little bit better for those back home. I promise you that there are still leaders here who are the real deal, who are in this for the right reasons. But to truly move our country forward, we need more of them. That's why Missouri's Senate race this year is so critical.
Trudy is one of those people fighting the good fight against apathy, cynicism, greed, and corruption. A nurse, a mother, and a proud fourth-generation Missourian, she will be a fierce, tireless, and incredible advocate for her beloved home state as Missouri's next senator.
I know that I can count on her as an ally in this fight to restore trust in our government, to elect honest leaders, and to truly bring decency back to Washington. I need more partners like Trudy who will build bridges where there are divides and find solutions when it feels like our problems are just too big.
With more leaders with a heart like Trudy's in Washington, I know that together, we will rise.
This November, we have a chance to not only expand our Senate majority but also elect a leader who will put people before politics and heal the wounds tearing our country apart. So I am asking you right here, right now, John, to believe in the promise of America and help me elect Trudy to the Senate. Please, will you pitch in whatever you can spare before 11:59 p.m. tonight to send a nurse's heart to Washington?
