John,
Are the costs for caring for your parents, kids, or loved ones rising with inflation? Ever wondered why it’s not in the news?
It seems like every time I turn on the TV or go on Twitter, there’s something about how expensive things have become.
But one part of that story always seems to be missing: Soaring caregiving costs.
We want to make sure the media features care in stories about the economy — but we need your help. Will you fill out our survey so we can show reporters how inflation is affecting people who give and receive care?
Fill out our 6-question survey today.
We’re in a care crisis, and have been for decades. People who give and receive care have been struggling well before the pandemic even started.
Some families living in the US — the richest country in the world — are being forced to choose between paying their grocery bill or getting gas to drive their loved one to the doctor. Yet the media is totally silent on it.
Part of that is because the systems that do exist to provide care are complicated, and so many people keep their care stories private. So reporters think of care as a personal issue that doesn't affect everyone — and don’t delve into the complex policies that could help so many of us. Let’s change that.
The more our issues are out in the public, the more we can make things better for everyone who gives and receives care.
Take 1 minute and fill out our care survey now.
There are two parts to our strategy to change how the country sees care: Collecting your stories and sharing them with specific economic reporters.
When you fill out the survey, we’ll take your responses, organize them by area of concern, and paint a portrait of the state of care amongst our supporters and networks. Then, we’ll share what we create with specific reporters writing about the economy. This part will be completely anonymous and we won’t share anyone’s individual answers — unless you mark you’d like to speak to reporters directly on our survey.
Our stories are valuable. Caregivers and people who rely on care need to know they’re not alone. Fill out our survey to help us change the narrative!

It’s time to make sure we’re part of the story,
