Call for Volunteers! Post-Flood Cleanup Details
Progress has been made but we still need your help!
Trinity River litter cleanups have started and great progress has been made, particularly around Panther Island. Although Panther Island Pavilion areas to University Dr. are considered clear, there are still several impacted areas identified as needing attention.
On Friday morning, Aug. 26, 2022, City of Fort Worth staff and partner crews will mobilize at 2302 East 4th St., across the street from Top Golf, but volunteers can choose to clean any public areas along the Trinity River.
Supply pickup locations remain the same. Just pull up, collect your supplies, find an area to clean or join alongside our cleanup crews.
Free cleanup supplies are still available to all volunteers, community groups, and organizations. After litter and debris is collected, there will be multiple options for disposal, including the City's four Drop-off Stations.

Upcoming Post-Flood Cleanups
Assessments of Lake Worth and Lake Arlington have been completed and cleanup action plans are currently being developed. Due to the complexity of these areas, special equipment, boats and trained operators will be utilized. Safety is still our priority, so at this time, volunteers are still being asked to remain on higher, lake shorelines and to refrain from cleaning areas in or near surface levels.
We understand the concerns of volunteers and residents neighboring these areas, and appreciate the patience as we work to address these concerns.
Special thanks to all community partners coming together for this response effort!
