Despite the decision of an unelected majority of far-right Supreme Court justices, we know this much to be true: abortion access is popular and broadly supported by Americans regardless of political affiliation.

Voters are energized and motivated to fight back to protect their rights following the elimination of the federal constitutional right to abortion.

We’re counting on that energy here in California, because abortion will be on the ballot this November in the form of a ballot proposition.

Californians will vote on Proposition 1 — the Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment — an amendment to the state constitution that would prohibit the state from interfering with or denying reproductive freedom.

This is our chance to make a bold statement and take a stand for access to abortion care in our state.
