Thank you so much for all your birthday wishes! When Sharla showed me my card with all your kind notes it reminded me why I got into this work in the first place. All I ever wanted to do was fight for hard working communities like the one I come from and I’m grateful to be heading into another year doing just that.

I’ve been spending my time back in Montana on the farm hauling wheat, fixing some broken down equipment, and hanging out with our new barn cats when they aren’t taking care of rodents. I’m also getting back on the road, talking to folks across Montana about the Inflation Reduction Act and how it will help them.

We’ve seen a lot of wins recently, from the PACT Act , the Inflation Reduction Act , the CHIPS Act , and so on. All of these wins are only possible because folks like you worked hard to fight against big corporations and special interests and elect a Democratic majority. Now, we’re all better off because of it.

My Democratic colleagues and I want to keep building on this progress, but we’re up against tough odds and the Mitch McConnell fundraising machine. He’s been pouring millions into battleground states to try and retake the Senate, and it’s going to be close.

That’s why I’m reaching out today. In the last few months of this election, we’re hoping to double down on our efforts to protect and expand our Senate majority.
