On September 26, Amazon-owned MGM Studios will premiere the TV series, “Ring Nation.”

This America's Funniest Home Video style series will use camera footage directly from people’s Amazon’s Ring doorbells across the country, with Wanda Sykes hosting.

Let’s be clear: there is nothing funny or safe about the mass surveillance of our neighbors.

This thinly veiled ad makes Amazon’s dangerous surveillance tech seem helpful and fun while obscuring the fact that AWS, Ring and other surveillance tech profit off the harm and exploitation of our people.
