If you purchase generic prescription drugs, eat chicken, own a television, pay utility bills, receive health care at hospitals, or have student loans, my work has contributed to lowering your costs. This is important to me because I know firsthand that every Washington family deserves a fair deal and economic security.

Before I share some specifics about this work, will you rush a donation of $20 to help me meet our ambitious $7,000 end-of-month fundraising goal. [[link removed]]Give $20 immediately » [[link removed]]

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is doing work that makes a positive impact on Washingtonians like you. Here are some examples: *
Combating
price
fixing:
We
put
nearly
$100
million
back
into
the
pockets
of
Washington
families
by
successfully
ending
an
illegal
price
rigging
scheme
among
foreign
manufacturers
of
television
screens
and
computer
monitors.
We
also
shut
down
price
fixing
on
Amazon
products
and
tuna
products.
Now
we’re
taking
on
21
pharmaceutical
companies
for
illegally
fixing
prices
on
generic
drugs,
and
19
chicken
producers
who
increased
the
cost
of
chicken
products
for
Washingtonians.
*
*
Fair
utility
rates:
I’m
making
sure
the
public
has
a
voice
in
ratepayer
hearings,
and
challenging
unfair
increases
on
utility
bills
that
gouge
Washingtonians.
We
have
saved
Washingtonians
tens
of
millions
of
dollars
on
their
utility
bills,
and
we’re
currently
challenging
unreasonable
rate
increase
proposals
from
PSE
and
Avista.
*
*
Affordable
hospital
care:
I
successfully
passed
a
reform
to
make
hospital
care
more
affordable.
Thanks
to
legislation
I
proposed,
4
million
Washingtonians
have
access
to
more
affordable
hospital
care

more
than
half
are
able
to
go
to
a
hospital
without
paying
anything
out
of
pocket.

Student
loan
reform:
Washington
families
are
hurting
due
to
mountains
of
student
loan
debt.
I
proposed
and
passed
a
landmark
Student
Loan
Bill
of
Rights.
We
took
on
Betsy
DeVos,
held
servicing
giant
Navient
(formerly
Frannie
Mae)
accountable
for
deceptive
practices,
and
helped
eliminate
billions
in
student
loan
debt.
Now
I’m
advocating
for
student
loan
forgiveness.

My legal team fields 24,000 consumer complaints per year. We don’t ask or care about their political affiliation — we just get to work fixing their problems and putting money back in their pockets.

Will you stand with me against powerful interests and on behalf of all Washingtonians by rushing a $20 contribution today? → [[link removed]]DONATE [[link removed]]
