In fact, Democrats have done a lot.
The American Rescue Plan. The infrastructure bill. The Violence Against Women Act. The first gun-safety bill in decades. Measures to strengthen semiconductor manufacturing and create jobs. A bill to get veterans exposed to toxic burn pits the health care they need. Measures to reduce the deficit, lower prescription drug costs, and make sure billion-dollar corporations pay their fair share.
These were complex, ambitious bills and it took a lot to get them over the finish line. That’s what this job is all about.
It’s people like you who helped get us here. Your support -- for me and other candidates -- helped put us in the position to make all of this happen.
There’s more we have to do and I’m excited to keep doing this job and deliver the big, smart solutions we need.
That means we need to win more elections this year -- including ours here in Hawaii. Any amount you can contribute before the deadline helps us get ready for Election Day so I can return to the Senate and continue delivering for Hawaii and our country.
