Media & Project Assistant The Media and Project Assistant is responsible for providing project and operational support to the Coalition’s overall training and education efforts (training, education, awareness, advocacy, and prevention). Assists the Coalition’s Training and Education Director and project coordinators with logistical support and event preparation. Assists the Coalition’s strategic efforts in training and education to support the mission, goals, and objectives of the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women (CSVANW). DEADLINE TO APPLY: Open Until Filled Native Youth Project Coordinator The Native Youth Project Coordinator is responsible for the strategic coordination of the Coalition’s overall Native youth violence prevention programming including education, awareness, and advocacy. Works to coordinate capacity building of violence prevention programs that target Native youth by supporting innovative and developmentally appropriate Native youth programming. Cultivate strategic alliances to meet the prevention needs of Native youth exposed to and/or experiencing violence. Provides training, education, and outreach to service providers, systems, and youth to engage in solution- based conversations towards breaking the cycle of violence. The position will focus on developing gender-expansive initiatives, trainings, and advocacy within the movement to end gender-based violence. Provide training, education, and outreach to service providers, systems, and community to engage in solution-based conversations towards breaking the cycle of violence. MMIWR Coordinator The MMIWR Coordinator is responsible for the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women’s (CSVANW) Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives (MMIWR) initiatives by creating a resource within our organization to support training opportunities, culturally relevant resource referrals, and media development support to those most impacted by MMIWR. Provide support and resources to advocates and impacted families experiencing MMIWR within our service region while illustrating a strong connection between extractive industries and the missing and murdered crisis, also known as land/body violence. Works closely with impacted communities and partners to identify issues, priorities, develop strategies, and community- based responses to MMIWR. This is a salaried, exempt position.
