Midterm races are especially difficult for the party that controls the Senate, and this year is no different. For months, CNN, NPR, and Roll Call have rated my seat one of the top 10 most likely to flip, but a few things happened recently that changed the course of this race:

FIRST: Mitch McConnell called my MAGA opponent his “perfect candidate” and said he was “all-in in Colorado.”

THEN: The National GOP spent $250,000 to run TV ads across Colorado to support him. My opponent opposes the Inflation Reduction Act which I fought to pass that will lower prescription drug prices, ensure companies like Amazon pay their fair share, and reduce climate pollution by 40%.

NOW: The Cook Political Report has downgraded my race closer to a toss-up, and my opponent is hosting big-dollar fundraisers with Mitch McConnell because grassroots support is low.

Team, tough races like this one require discipline — even when it feels like National Republicans are throwing everything they have at us. Folks like you truly power my campaign, not corporate PACs or federal lobbyists, so I’m asking:
