John,
We have a major update from HQ: We just got word that our opponent Young Kim has released her very first TV ad of the General Election.
It's no surprise that her TV ad is dropping much earlier than anticipated. Young Kim's reputation with independent voters took a massive hit after her vicious (and desperate) primary campaign smearing her opponent.
It's only a matter of time before the super PAC that orchestrated her primary victory moves in to attack Asif. Based on our intel, this same super PAC already has $500,000 for attack ads planned against us with more on the way.
Our team has made a big decision to bump up our TV schedule and get our ads up as early as next week. This changes our budget needs, and we're hoping you will help us close the gap:
We need to bring in $25,000 before the end of the week to speed up our schedule. Can you rush in an urgent $5 to make sure we can compete with Kim and her super PAC allies on the airwaves?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Remember, Young Kim is new to 80% of the district, and two-thirds of voters initially rejected her during the primaries. She will be spending millions to win over the undecided voters who will decide this race.
The good news is that our polling tells us that when more people learn about Dr. Mahmood -- and realize Young Kim is a rubber stamp for the extremist agenda -- our chances skyrocket.
We’re in a strong position, but the doctor isn’t relying on super PACs to push him across the finish line. We depend on support from individual donors like you:
Please chip in $5 to get us up on the air early with a strong, competitive ad buy. Any amount will help bolster our communication strategy in these crucial weeks.
Thanks,
Team Asif
