Rodney has been wrongfully incarcerated for decades, and though this reprieve is a relief, it doesn’t get Rodney off of death row.

** [link removed] Final stretch for 2019
------------------------------------------------------------
John,

Last month, I was relieved when we received the news that our client Rodney Reed would be granted an indefinite stay of execution in Texas, just five days before his scheduled execution date. Rodney has been wrongfully incarcerated for decades, and though this reprieve is a step in the right direction, it doesn’t get Rodney off of death row or make him innocent in the eyes of the law.

In 2020, Rodney’s fight will continue, along with those of all of our clients awaiting justice. This work is heart-wrenching and important — and it takes resources and requires a growing, dedicated team. I’m asking you to make a donation today to fuel the challenging road ahead and help us reach our end-of-year fundraising goal. ([link removed])

Your contribution will help fund legal battles, which can drag on for years, and advocacy work that can prevent wrongful convictions from happening in the first place. We're extremely grateful for your support here at the Innocence Project.
