Tom is hosting an in-person public forum for veterans of New Jersey’s 7th Congressional District. This is an opportunity for veterans to ask questions, share comments, and hear updates on the latest from Congress. In attendance will be representatives from local Veteran Service Offices (VSOs). Tom recently voted to pass the PACT Act, which was signed into law this month, and dramatically expands healthcare access for veterans exposed to toxic burn pits and other toxic substances. Additionally, in the FY 2023 Military Construction and Veterans Affairs appropriations bill, Tom championed nearly $14 billion for veteran mental health services, including $498 million for veteran suicide prevention. He also fought for investments that support unhoused veterans, speed up mental health wait times, and modernize veteran records.
