Team,
Did you know that the U.S. has the shameful distinction of being 1 of
only 4 countries that have rolled back abortion rights since 1994?
During the same period, nearly 60 countries have liberalized their
abortion laws.
The U.S. Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and take
away the right to abortion in the U.S. is unprecedented and in stark
contrast to worldwide trends.
With so much at stake, we must continue to build, enforce, and defend
legal protections for reproductive rights around the world, but we
need your help. Will you make a gift to the Center for Reproductive
Rights today to ensure we have the critical resources needed to
continue this fight?

Since Roe was overturned, anti-abortion proponents have tried to blunt
public outrage by asserting that the Court's decision puts the U.S.
more in line with global norms on abortion. This is patently false.
Since 1994, nearly 60 countries have liberalized their abortion laws.
The Center has been part of the global effort to advance abortion
rights across the globe, from being a vital member of the coalition
that worked to liberalize abortion in Colombia to advocating for the
High Court of Kenya to affirm the right to abortion as a fundamental
right under the Constitution.
No one, no matter where they live, should ever be deprived of the
right to make their own decisions about their lives and futures. Make
a gift today to help fund this fight.
