Earlier this year, we hit an important milestone: ten years since Fight was founded and organized one of the biggest online protests in history. That’s ten years of fighting for digital rights as human rights—for a world in which technology is used for empowerment, openness, and creativity rather than oppression. Because we believe this work must continue into the next decade, we’re kicking off a two week sustaining donor drive.

Thanks to the support of people like you, we’ve been able to celebrate many wins against the big and powerful, even with a small but badass team. But as Fight has grown up, the lowercase-f fight has expanded too—and no win is guaranteed to last forever. We’ve gotta stay nimble, smart, and pretty punk rock so we can clap back at Big Tech, lobbyists, data brokers, and the other powerful forces eager to sacrifice human rights for profit.
