I’m writing to you today to introduce you to my friend and colleague, Congressman Dan Kildee, who is running for reelection in Michigan’s 8th District.
Dan Kildee has represented hardworking Michigan families since 2013. We have worked together time and time again to strengthen manufacturing in America, replace lead pipes to ensure safe drinking water for communities, clean up toxic PFAS chemicals, and so much more.
I have seen firsthand how much Dan Kildee cares about Michigan and how hard he fights to deliver solutions that impact families and their day-to-day lives, which is why it’s so critical that Michigan voters send Dan Kildee back to Congress this November.
Here is why I am reaching out to you today. In the 2020 Census, Michigan lost a congressional seat and then our election district maps were redrawn by the Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission.
Now, Dan Kildee is running for reelection in what experts call a “toss-up” district that is one of the most competitive districts across the country that will determine control of Congress. National Republicans and his self-funding opponent have already spent millions of dollars on TV attacking Dan.
Dan and his team must have the resources they need to keep his competitive seat blue and send him back to Capitol Hill next year. I know that Michigan and America need Dan back in Congress to work with Democrats and deliver real solutions that help real people so we can build back better together!
Will you split a contribution between my reelection campaign and Dan Kildee’s reelection campaign today so we can continue our critical work together in Congress?
