Midterm elections are historically difficult for the party holding the White House. Since President Joe Biden was elected, pundits have been speculating about this year’s elections.

Here’s the thing: many of the latest polls show that Democrats have a real shot at protecting the Senate majority. Things are neck-and-neck, just take a look at what FiveThirtyEight is showing:

They project that Democrats have a 3 in 5 chance of holding onto the Senate. That’s great – but as you know, anything can happen between now and November 8th. We can’t leave this to chance.

Mitch McConnell and his dark money donors are preparing huge ad buys for Republican candidates in the lead-up to Election Day. They want nothing more than to control the Senate and block even more important legislation.
