On Thursday, the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) endorsed Brian Maryott and released the following statement:

"NAPO is pleased to support Brian Maryott's campaign and is confident he will continue his strong support of the law enforcement community in Congress."

Brian Maryott responded, "I am very grateful for the support of NAPO. Our law enforcement community has been under attack in recent years, and far too many politicians have turned their backs, Levin included. In fact, Levin went as far as to say that we should reimagine policing. As crime runs rampant across the country, it is critical now more than ever that we fund, support, and enhance our police departments across the U.S."

NAPO is a coalition of police groups and associations from across the United States that serves to advance the interests of America’s law enforcement through legislative and legal advocacy, political action, and education. As one of the largest law enforcement organizations in the country, NAPO advocates for nearly a quarter of a million men and women who wear the badge and police our communities.

To date, Brian Maryott has received the endorsements of the San Diego Police Officers' Association, The Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, San Diego Lincoln Club, Orange County Lincoln Club, Betty Ward, Ward Connerly, The California Women's Leadership Association PAC, 13 Mayors, 6 City Council Members, 4 County Supervisors, 2 State Senators, and 3 Assemblymembers.
