If there’s one thing the Far Right has successfully convinced their supporters to believe, it’s that the 2020 election was stolen from them. We all know that the election was freely and fairly conducted but because Trump lost, many on the extreme right are taking steps to make voting harder and less accessible for eligible voters.
It’s up to us to stand up to these efforts and speak out against those who seek to undermine our elections. One of the best ways we can affirm our support of our free and fair elections is to work with local officials to pass resolutions in support of our democracy.
Trump and his far-right allies are actively working to sabotage future elections by changing state laws, threatening state officials, and packing election administration offices so that they can have the final say over election results – even when they lose.
Unconvinced that their anti-working family authoritarian policy agenda has any real public appeal, the Far Right is now going out of their way to undermine the integrity of our elections. This is inherently undemocratic and threatens the very foundation of our democracy.
By demonstrating our support for local officials, we can more confidently stand up against the far-right conspiracy theorists who are hell-bent on undermining our democracy.
During the call panelists will provide an in-depth overview of what the process looks like and there will be plenty of time reserved for questions and answers.
