PRI’s Kerry Jackson’s comments were featured in the San Diego Union-Tribune on on today’s vote by the CA Air Resources Board to ban sales of gas powered cars in CA by 2035:
“This is another case of policymakers taking away consumer choice,” Kerry Jackson ([link removed]) , a fellow at the Center for California Reform at the Pacific Research Institute ([link removed]) , said in an email.
"If new cars that burn gasoline can't be sold in the state, sure, they can meet the target in 2035, since there'd be nothing else to buy," Jackson said. "But along the way things might not go as expected."
