John,

There are only a few days left to submit comments to the Bureau of Land Management to stop the proposal for the Willow Master Development Plan in Alaska. If approved, this project would require huge investments in new fossil fuel infrastructure that would catalyze more oil projects, produce additional pollution on native land and worsen climate change.

Make sure the Biden administration hears from you: Submit a public comment to stop this terrible proposal before the August 29 deadline!

John,

The Biden Administration is considering yet another dangerous drilling proposal: the Willow Master Development Plan (Willow MDP), which would construct fossil fuel infrastructure through Indigenous land in Alaska.

In solidarity with the Sovereign Iñupiat for a Living Arctic and hundreds of organizations from across the country, we're working to generate public comments to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to stop the Willow Master Development Plan.

We have one week to flood the BLM with public comments demanding they reject this terrible proposal. The BLM is a federal agency, so regardless of where you live, your voice matters!

Submit a public comment against the Willow Master Development Plan before the August 29th deadline.

This dangerous plan would disproportionately affect the community of Nuiqsut. Nuiqsut is a predominantly Iñupiaq village of about 500 people already living through extreme pollution from existing oil projects. Iñupiat have disproportionately high rates of cancer, chronic illnesses, and mental health issues. We can’t allow communities in Alaska to be sacrificed to the oil and gas industry.

President Biden's administration has the authority to end this proposal, but it’s up to us to force them to act. Tell Biden’s Bureau of Land Management to reject  the Willow Master Development Plan!

This is a very short public comment period, so now is the moment to generate as much public pressure as possible to make sure this proposal is stopped.

President Biden made a promise on the campaign trail to address the climate crisis — and we need to hold him to that promise. Ending new oil and gas infrastructure and prioritizing people over polluters is a crucial step. Join the fight to protect the Arctic! Send a comment today!
