Friend,
Sixty years ago today, Patrick Leahy and his wife, Marcelle, were married at St. Mark's Church in Burlington, Vermont.
The senator was a law student and Marcelle had just graduated from nursing school. Together they began a life filled with children, grandchildren, friends and service to the people of Vermont.
Their 60 year marriage included 48 years in the United States Senate. Together they are one of the most impactful and beloved couples for Vermont and for our nation.
On their 60th wedding anniversary, will you take a moment to sign the virtual card we've prepared to celebrate this significant milestone?
As one of Patrick's supporters over the years, we know that hearing from you will mean so much to both Patrick and Marcelle.
Please, take a moment to congratulate Patrick and Marcelle Leahy for this milestone and wish them the very best on their 60th wedding anniversary.
From all of us on Team Leahy, thank you for your help to make this day special!
Sincerely,
Team Leahy
PS - We thought you might enjoy this interview with Senator Leahy on CBS Sunday Morning where he discusses his time in the Senate and his new book: The Road Taken which of course is dedicated to Marcelle!
