This isn't good, friend: Just hours after I became the official Democratic nominee for Florida's Senate seat, Marco Rubio began blanketing the airwaves with $1.3 MILLION in new attacks to defeat me, and it is a total distortion of who I am and what I stand for. 

Unfortunately, Republican ads have a habit of resonating with the same voters I need to win over. And if I don't have the resources to reach all Floridians, it could stall my momentum – just as two new polls are reporting that this race is now TIED and I'm on the verge of taking the lead.

Friend, CNN is calling Florida's Senate seat among the most likely to flip, and NPR is even calling Rubio the second-most endangered incumbent Republican senator. But Florida Senate races are won on the margins (just 10,033 votes in 2018) – so without the resources to counter Republican attack ads like this, all the grassroots momentum I'm building could disappear in the blink of an eye.
