Friend -- we did it!

I am beyond proud to say that I will be the Democratic nominee for the 26th District in the State Senate! I can’t thank you all enough for putting your trust in me to fight for your needs up in Albany next year.

On behalf of myself, Melanie, and Evan: thank you.

This win would not have been even remotely possible without the support, dedication, and hard work of folks like you, friend.

Together, we knocked 65,000 doors, made tens of thousands of phone calls, and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in order to win big for Brooklyn!

When I decided to run five years ago, I never could have imagined the things we would accomplish together.

Since 2018, we have passed over 60 laws to make our state more fair, safe, and affordable, helped over 20,000 neighbors, fed and kept our community safe during the pandemic, and got millions in funds for our neighborhood.

And now, we can add one more huge milestone to the checklist: another term in office to continue fighting for a better District 26, and a better New York.

I am so proud of the campaign we ran this year, but now is when the real work begins. I was out this morning at Subway stations, chatting with voters, because I can’t wait to represent you again in the New York State Senate!

Thank you so much again, from the bottom of my heart, for making this win possible. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.
