* The Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) are the highest honors bestowed by the U.S. government specifically for K-12 science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and/or computer science teachers.

POETRY OUT LOUD

*Anthology Available September 1, 2022*

* The Wyoming Arts Council invites interested grade 9-12 teachers and students to take part in Poetry Out Loud (POL) which is a free, national program offered by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Poetry Foundation. 
* POL helps students master public speaking skills, build self-confidence, and learn about literary history and contemporary life.
* POL is easy to implement, and materials are free.
* Students have a chance to win cash prizes: $20,000 at the national competition and an all-expenses paid trip to Washington D.C., plus bonus cash for their school to purchase poetry materials at the state level.
