In his nearly thirty-year career in Congress, Calvert has proven himself a loyal rubber-stamp for the far-right’s agenda. As we expected, nothing has changed now that he’s representing a more purple district. While Democrats have pushed through historic legislation for the American people, Calvert sided with his party leaders and voted:
❌ Against lowering prescription drug prices
❌ Against a fairer tax system
❌ Against tackling the climate crisis and lowering energy costs
❌ Against protecting access to contraceptive care
❌ Against creating good-paying jobs
His voting record is not in-step with our district, but it is in line with the MAGA Republicans pulling his strings. These days, Calvert’s more likely to stick his neck out for Trump in attacking law enforcement than actually go to work for his constituents.
Our job is to make sure all voters know there’s a viable alternative to Calvert. We need a representative who will put this district first. Will is the man for the job.
