My MAGA celebrity opponent is Nancy Mace. She’s an NRA A-lister who has turned her back on her constituents in the Lowcountry, voting against commonsense gun violence prevention, stopping the baby formula crisis, stopping our rising sea levels in Charleston, and codifying abortion rights into federal law. 

If you need further evidence of just how extreme Mace is: She helped write South Carolina’s draconian current 6-week abortion ban. Now, they’re planning to take away any exceptions for rape or incest.

No matter how she is trying to spin her choices now, the fact is the ONLY woman Nancy Mace has ever fought for is Nancy Mace. 

I’m a proud pediatrician and split my time between the campaign trail and helping kids and their families at the hospital in our community. 

I’ve seen too many kids with bullet wounds, whose families can’t afford the hospital stay, and that experience is why I know it’s time for a real change in leadership for our communities.
