I want you to hear it from me: our race has been called, and I'm so sorry to say that we didn't win.

Before we go any further: THANK YOU for being part of this team. Time and again, our campaign defied expectations and predictions, but we wouldn't have gone anywhere without folks like you who volunteered, came to events, donated, hosted parties, and spread the word about our movement. And though this didn't end the way we wanted, I couldn't be prouder of the work we've done or more grateful for your support throughout.

This campaign might be over, but our movement isn't going anywhere. This election is one of the most important in the country, and we're just as committed to fighting for Long Islanders as we've ever been.
