Everyday I’m in Washington, it’s my honor to take Iowans’ voices to the halls of Congress. I’ll never take for granted the incredible team effort it took -- and will continue to take -- to do right by our state and country.
From fighting for access to better healthcare and lowering the costs of prescription drugs, to ensuring Iowans keep working and are paid well, we have a great deal to keep fighting for.
Earlier this month, I was at Progress Iowa Corn Feed, and I had a really great day with fellow Democrats. The hope, respect, and values I saw in our neighbors were a reminder that if we keep it up, we’ll reach our shared vision, but I can’t do it on my own.
Iowa is in play in 2020 because our state is key to protecting the House, and already, national Republicans are targeting our district in their strategy to unseat me and stop me from representing YOU in Washington.
They’ll spend big money to get me out, but there’s power in our numbers -- and thanks to a wonderful group of supporters, whatever we bring in before tomorrow at midnight will be MATCHED MONTHLY through the end of this year.
