Hi Team — it’s Sharice.
Congress will be back in session soon, and during this recess, I’m dedicated to making sure Kansans hear about the legislation we just got passed into law.
I need your response by midnight to my survey on the new laws and how they’ll impact you to help inform my decisions. Will you fill me in?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Team,
Sharice is hard at work during the district work period, meeting with working Kansans, learning about the issues they face, and sharing how she’s fighting for them in Washington.
This legislative session has resulted in major legislative victories and Sharice has helped pass critical bills into law.
We’re about to tell you more about them, but first, we want to hear what you think: Before Congress is back in session, we need to learn what our top supporters think are the most important issues we should address. Answer in the next 48 hours to have your response included. [[link removed]]Answer→ [[link removed]]
Here’s some of what Sharice has been up to:
→ CHIPS and Science Act: Sharice was part of the bipartisan team negotiating this law, which will make U.S. manufacturing more competitive on the global stage and invest in domestically made semiconductor chips, which are in everything from cars to washing machines. When making this bill, she met with local manufacturing and technology leaders and now is working with local officials to bring good-paying jobs and workforce investments to our area.
→ Honoring our PACT Act: This law ensures that veterans exposed to toxic substances while serving our country receive the care they need. As the daughter of a single mom who served in the Army for 20 years, Sharice is proud to support this bipartisan bill— even when the other three Kansas House Members did not.
→ Inflation Reduction Act: This brand new law will lower Kansans’ everyday healthcare and prescription drug costs as well as pay down our national debt to tackle inflation. It also has the most significant investments ever in clean energy technology and jobs, helping lower utility bills and reduce our dependence on foreign fossil fuels.
→ Safer Communities Act: The first measure on gun violence prevention to pass in 30 years, this bipartisan law will help protect our kids by expanding background checks, increasing mental health resources, and making sure those who are ineligible to obtain a gun don’t get one. Gun violence has become the number one killer of our kids, so this legislation is essential to help save lives.
Sharice has been working hard to help Kansans. Now, we’ve got to know how our new laws will affect you. Take our brief survey to let us know: [[link removed]]Take the Survey [[link removed]]
