Team, I just wanted to quickly bump Bri’s message from yesterday for you because it’s important.
The state Supreme Court temporarily blocked Nancy Mace’s 6-week abortion ban and now it’s time to show that we have the grassroots momentum to permanently block it.
Will you sign my petition by midnight to show your support for our rights?
Thanks,
Annie

Hey, we wanted to share a quick news update today.
Last week, as Annie delivered her testimony against extreme abortion bans in South Carolina, the state Supreme Court delivered a temporary block to the 6-week abortion ban, legislation which was co-written by Nancy Mace.
If the extremely conservative South Carolina Supreme Court is blocking your legislation, you are far-right, no matter how hard you try to brand yourself as a "moderate."
Now, we need to keep the pressure up to make sure this temporary ruling becomes permanent. Will you sign Annie’s petition in the next 48 hours to help us fight abortion bans in South Carolina?
Mace recently said The Handmaid’s Tale is not supposed to be a roadmap, yet the law she drafted that bans abortion at 6 weeks is now even too extreme for the Republican courts and, in Congress, she voted against measures to protect patients who need access to reproductive healthcare.
No matter how she is trying to spin herself as a pro-family champion, the fact remains that she voted against access to baby formula, protecting kids from getting gunned down, lowering the cost of life-saving prescription drugs, and fighting climate change.
We have to fight back for abortion rights in South Carolina. Sign your name now to show you’re with us:
