John – Our final primary has wrapped, and we have less than 80 days until the November election. Here’s a look at the November slate for BNC:
|
Angélica Dueñas is taking on an entrenched corporate-funded incumbent to become the first Latina to represent her majority immigrant community in CA-29. Odessa Kelly is running against a homophobic, radical Republican incumbent to flip TN-07 and become the first openly gay Black woman elected to Congress.
Michelle Vallejo is running for the open seat in TX-15 in one of the best pickup opportunities for Democrats in 2022. Charles Booker is running to retire Rand Paul and flip the U.S. Senate seat in Kentucky to become the first Black man elected to federal office from Kentucky.
Becca Balint will become the first openly gay woman elected to Congress from Vermont when she wins the race for that open seat. We have a lot of tough races ahead, but each of these CAN be won if we have the resources to support our candidates effectively.
