Hi John,

In a moment, I’m going to ask you to chip in $3 to support our digital outreach efforts. But first, give me a second to pull back the curtain a bit on our strategy.

Redistricting has helped CA-45 swing from a +6.5% Republican district to one that’s now +5% Democratic. That makes this a competitive and very flippable seat! However, redistricting also introduced numerous challenges including the extra ground we need to cover to meet new and undecided voters in our community. As much as I wish I could give every voter one-on-one time… it’s just not feasible.

That’s why we’re building a robust digital program to spread the word about my campaign to unseat far-right Republican Michelle Steel.

If you’ve been following our campaign, you know election forecasters are saying this toss-up race “could tip power in Congress,” and at least one far-right super PAC has already begun dumping cash into CA-45 to influence the outcome. To date, a Kevin McCarthy-aligned super PAC has already committed $1.7 million for ads to attack me and bolster Michelle Steel.

Thankfully, supporters and new donors alike are responding enthusiastically to our campaign, but in order for us to keep this ad up, we need to raise $12,500 by Friday; otherwise, we may have to go dark.

That’s why I’m asking:

John, will you chip in $3 to keep our digital ad program running? For every dollar we spend on ads, we could raise up to double from new donors and supporters.
