We’re exactly a week out from the end of the month, and my team just told me that we’re falling a little short of our August grassroots fundraising goal – we’re running out of time to reach our target.

We’ve been incredibly busy this month getting things done for the people of North Carolina, and it’s all thanks to your continued support. Here’s a recap of some of our big moves:

✅ We fought to protect women’s reproductive rights and filed two friend-of-the-court briefs to defend hospitals’ obligations to provide stabilizing emergency treatment, including abortions, when a pregnant woman’s health is at risk.

✅ We created a bipartisan Anti-Robocall Litigation Task Force with AGs from across the country to hold gateway phone companies accountable when they turn a blind eye to the robocallers they’re letting on to their networks so they can make more money. 

✅ We protected North Carolinians from predatory, for-profit schools and delivered nearly $100 million in debt relief to more than 5,000 NC students defrauded by ITT Tech. 

This list highlights some of what we were able to accomplish this month – and you know as well as I do that there is still A LOT of work left to do.
