9:00 AM: Prosperity University: Networks for Movement Building 101
Begin your Prosperity Summit journey by attending a special breakfast that will orient you to Prosperity Now’s newly refreshed Networks! We’ll do a deep dive into Prosperity Now’s Networks, which play a key role in the movement for racial and ethnic economic justice.
10:00 AM: Official Summit Welcome & Kickoff
Get pumped up and energized with us by a surprise performance from an Atlanta-based group as we ground our shared vision for economic justice in our histories to set the tone for our days ahead, together.
Plus, every day of the Summit, you can stop by the Prosperity Hub, your one-stop location to meet the Prosperity Now team and Summit guests to connect, take action, make an impact, and discover and inform our research. We’ll also be offering dynamic breakout sessions on:
- Advancing gender and racial equity by taxing wealth
- Strategies for reaching and serving marginalized and historically excluded communities
- A policy roadmap for inclusive entrepreneurship
- Lessons learned on a community-led guaranteed income pilot for racial justice
- How to launch a state or local baby bonds program
- Bridging gaps in the entrepreneurial ecosystem for Black women
- Building disability-inclusive communities to demolish disabled poverty

During the day, we’ll put our brains together to figure out how we reimagine economic justice so that everyone can prosper. And at night, we’ll come together to reflect and celebrate our joyful movement for racial economic justice at a museum outing to the National Center for Civil & Human Rights, dancing for a brighter future at Club Prosperity, and sustaining changemakers with a Street Fair full of local eats. Our three-day gathering will set the stage for future collective actions that will get us all closer to an economy that works for everyone – and John, we need your strategic thinking to inform our plans!
