?The Court today made clear it was not persuaded by the legislature?s attempt to end access to abortion care in Michigan. I have repeatedly pledged that I will not prosecute any medical staff for providing necessary care. I refuse to turn doctors and nurses into criminals for upholding their oath and delivering the standard of care required of their professions. Michigan women deserve certainty and I fully support their right to make personal medical decisions free from government intrusion and the threat of criminal prosecution.??
