Well, we have good news:

"Democrats are intensifying their focus on secretary of state contests – and arguments that they are the guardians against 2024 presidential election results being overturned."

That’s right – in many states, the secretary of state is responsible for ensuring a fair election. And the fact is, Republicans CAN’T be trusted to do that – especially when they’re outright election deniers (Nevada’s GOP nominee) or have been endorsed by Donald Trump (Ohio’s Republican nominee).

That’s why the NDRC is providing campaign support to THREE Democratic secretary of state candidates in CRITICAL swing states (Nevada, Georgia, and Ohio).

That’s not all. In Pennsylvania, the governor appoints the secretary of state – and Republican gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano (a January 6th participant!) has already picked someone who could “disrupt” Pennsylvania’s elections. That’s one of the many reasons the NDRC is supporting Mastriano’s opponent, Democrat Josh Shapiro.

But we’ll be honest – we’re going to need all the help we can get to support all of our democracy-saving candidates and execute the rest of our 2022 strategy.
