This is a reminder that Arise's Annual Meeting is just a month away! If you're not already, this is an excellent time to become a member. And if you are a member, don't forget to register! 

Arise’s power is in our people. As a member-driven organization, we rely on our members to help make our shared vision a reality and improve the lives of people struggling to make ends meet. By donating to Arise, you have the power to cast your vote on our annual policy priorities and stand in one united, strong voice with partners across the state to advance more just and equitable public policy.

Our Annual Meeting, where our members vote on our annual policy agenda, is coming up on Saturday, Sept. 24. If you're not already a member, will you donate to Arise by this Thursday, Aug. 25, at 11:59 p.m. CDT so you can vote on our issue priorities?

Our Annual Meeting is on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. During the meeting, we will hear presentations on proposed legislative priorities. All members ‒ which could include you ‒ then will vote on our 2023 policy priorities, budget and board of directors.

We are thrilled to be offering both an in-person and online attendance option this year. We will send a Zoom link to all online registrants. In-person attendees should meet us at Aldersgate United Methodist Church (6610 Vaughn Road, Montgomery, AL 36116).
