Local backlash is growing against marijuana legalization in "legal" states.
In fact, in California, which legalized recreational marijuana in 2018, 80 percent of local communities now ban marijuana shops. Similar scenarios have also played out in Colorado and Michigan thanks to efforts from SAM and our affiliates.
SAM works with a broad array of local coalition partners to arm them with the resources and tools needed to advocate for sensible marijuana policies.
