Just four months ago, Edwards claimed “half of any job is just showing up” – but after winning the primary, he’s refusing to attend more than one debate. The voters of WNC deserve honest answers and someone who can be counted on to show up. It’s clear Edwards is not only afraid to face voters and explain his extremist views, but he doesn’t want to share a debate stage with Jasmine.

Make no mistake: anyone who wants to roll back voting, reproductive, and LGBTQ rights is not fit to serve Western North Carolina in Congress. We can’t afford another two years of division and politicians who put their own gain above their oath to represent the people.

We deserve someone who will listen and also be honest about their beliefs, which is why we’re putting in the hard work to reach voters with Jasmine’s message.
