John, no matter what side of the political aisle you’re on, nearly every Californian agrees that we need to be doing more to address our state’s water crisis.
From day one of this campaign, I have been determined to find solutions for the Central Valley’s water supply shortage. My opponent, Kevin McCarthy, couldn’t be less interested. In fact, McCarthy voted against a bill that would have invested $55 billion in water infrastructure in California.
This issue is personal for me, John. I come from an agriculture and farming background. These days, almost every conversation we have with local farmers and ranchers boils down to this: we need more water.
We need a representative who will work to find water solutions and fight for policies that curb the effects of droughts caused by climate change. It’s clear Kevin McCarthy won’t advocate for our water, so please chip in $5 to help me DEFEAT him in November.
The wealthy and well-connected will always find a way to get water. But for farmers and working families, water access is an issue that impacts their everyday lives.
Kevin McCarthy is more concerned with big oil companies and fossil fuel polluters than helping his constituents access one of life’s most basic resources. We can’t wait for the next election to solve this problem. Californians need water solutions NOW.
I have the agricultural knowledge and experience needed to work with both parties to address our water crisis. So please, chip in whatever you can to help me defeat Kevin McCarthy and take this issue straight to Congress >>
