John,

The Inflation Reduction Act may incentivize new renewable energy, but that’s not all it does. It also throws a lifeline to fossil fuels, including more leases for oil drilling. Even worse, West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin struck a dirty side deal to fast-track approvals for dangerous fossil fuel projects.

But if enough of us speak up, we can stop Manchin’s deal. Join us tomorrow for an urgent call to learn how.

Manchin's dirty deal is backed by fossil fuel CEOs. It would allow big polluting oil and gas companies to force through dangerous fossil fuel projects in any community where they want to build them – and cut public input out of the process.

Congress must reject this terrible deal. That's why we're organizing people all over the country to take action to stop Manchin's fossil fuel fast-track proposal.

Join us tomorrow to learn how you can plug in!

Members of Congress need to hear directly from the people they represent. And it's urgent for all of us to weigh in now. If Manchin's dirty deal passes, it will be that much harder to stop dangerous projects like the Mountain Valley Pipeline – a proposed 303-mile long fracked gas pipeline steamrolling its way through Virginia and West Virginia.

Join us tomorrow to find out how you can take action in your community and help stop the fossil fuel industry from building whatever polluting project it wants.

I hope to see you there!
