While Chicago is my home (and has been for decades), I was raised in Ohio. And this fall, I'm hoping folks in my home state make the right choice by electing Nan Whaley as Governor!
Nan Whaley proved herself to be a hardworking, capable, empathetic leader while Mayor of Dayton. As we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and confront our new post-Roe reality, she's the governor Ohio needs.

Right now, abortions are banned in Ohio after six weeks — with no exceptions. This is an unacceptable attack on women's reproductive freedom, and something Nan Whaley is committed to changing.
But first, she has to unseat the deeply corrupt and entrenched incumbent who refuses to take a stand (or say anything at all) about abortion rights, and who's being backed by dark money PACs with millions of dollars to spend.
A poll from last week showed that Nan Whaley is now just one point behind her opponent in the polls.
