Fellow Conservatives - we're not going to sugar coat it, our CCC PAC team has always been straightforward with you. Last night Republicans suffered a painfully close defeat as we lost a Special Election for Congress in a swing district that most political observers thought we'd win by a comfortable margin.
Democrat Pat Ryan defeated our Republican candidate Marc Molinaro by a margin of 51.1% - 48.9%. This is consistent with the national generic congressional polling data we've been showing you, where Republicans have lost the sizable lead we once held, and now it's a toss-up in terms of who voters will support. This was something we pointed out with this polling graph for the battle for control of Congress:
We cannot afford any more losses, friends. If we somehow fail to win a Republican majority in Congress, can you imagine how emboldened the Left will feel to push through more radical leftist policies in the final two years of the Biden Administration? That is a nightmare scenario we must prevent.
